Clam Warranty
Clam Outdoors covers manufacture defects for products purchased through a certified Clam Outdoors dealer. We will only issue warranties to the original owner. Warranties will not be honored without original receipt of purchase. We will repair or replace at our discretion any product found to be defective due to a manufacturing defect within the specific products’ warranty time period.
Warranty repairs will be made without charge by a Clam authorized repair facility only. Transportation/shipping charges to Clam or authorized repair shop, are the responsibility of the customer. All other obligations or liabilities, including loss of use, inconvenience, commercial loss, and consequential damages are hereby excluded.
Hub (Ice & Quickset) or Fish Trap shelters:
The warranty does not cover cut or foggy windows, screen tears, tent tears, broken or bent poles, ripped grommets due to weather conditions or unattended use or normal wear and tear. Does not cover U.V damage, water damage, molding, or rusting. This warranty does not cover items that were purchased “AS-IS”, floor models, open boxed, used, and it is at Clam Outdoors discretion to review items that have been purchased at extreme discounts.
Clothing:
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from an accident, improper maintenance or care, neglect, normal wear, and tear, burned, ripped, punctured, abraded, fading from sun exposure, staining or improper washing care. This warranty does not cover items that were purchased “AS-IS”, open box, used, and it is at Clam Outdoors discretion to review items that have been purchased at extreme discounts.
Note:
Warranties will not be honored without original receipt of purchase and images of the damaged product. The warranty is not transferable. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and continues for the consecutive period thereafter. Warranties do not apply to floor or display models, out of box models, and it is at Clam Outdoors discretion to review items that have been purchased at discounts.
To obtain a warranty you must have prior approval by filling out the online warranty form at https://clamoutdoors.com/warranty-policy. Once we receive your claim request, it will be reviewed in the order it was received. Someone from the warranty department will be in contact with you within 5-7 business days. If you are required to send the defective product back, this will be at the expense of the customer. Warranty repairs can take up to 1-2 weeks with shipping time.
