By definition, Maven means expertise. With more power, speed, and efficiency than any other auger in its class, StrikeMaster® has distilled its storied hardwater expertise into an absolute smooth-operating, long-lasting, light-weight game-changer. After all, a Maven isn't born. A Maven is made.

In this case, it's made of a lightweight aluminum hexagonal shaft and twin serrated stainless-steel Maven™ blades.

Emerging from an unrelenting pursuit of greatness to set a new standard in ice fishing, StrikeMaster’s new Maven™ Lithium 40V Ice Auger is now the most premium 40V auger on the market. This first-of-its-quality auger promises zero resistance, supreme accuracy, and powerful longevity all in a lightweight package.

The Maven features an electric DC brushless motor, a planetary gear system, variable speed, a power button with a deadman safety switch, forward and reverse capability, a build-in LED light, ergonomic soft-touch grips, and impact-resistant long filament handles. Plus, it’s equipped with a built-in bubble level and power point to lock the drill unit in place while drilling.

“Historically, in augers with lots of power, the auger catches at the bottom of the ice and jerks the angler,” said Tony Roach, professional guide and host of the popular TV show Dialed-In Angling. “With the StrikeMaster Maven, there’s zero resistance at breakthrough. That’s a big deal.”

Because the Maven is so smooth while drilling, the battery works less hard and lasts longer on the ice. The 8” auger drills 3.6” per second, or 125 holes/2000” on a single charge. The 10” auger drills 2.5” per second, or 90 holes/1440 inches on a single charge. This is based on repeated tests with 16” of ice. The Maven comes with two Lithium 40V batteries for extra longevity and security.

At 14.5 lbs. and 15.5 lbs. for the 8” and 10” models, this auger is the lightest of its kind, so that anglers can use it all day long without injury or discomfort.

The Maven’s drill unit and blades feature a lightweight aluminum hexagonal shaft, proprietary synthetic resin molded flighting, full-length segmented flighting, and a carriage formed from exclusive engineered compounds.

The Maven comes with Maven Blades, a Maven Blade Carriage, the hands-free Maven Magnetic Snap Cover Blade Guard to keep you and your blades safe, and a wall-mountable Lithium 40V Charging Base. Each accessory can also be sold individually for replacement or to have extra on hand.

The Maven Auger has a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty on the motor, battery and charger. Also, there is a 1- year manufacturer’s warranty on the drill unit. Please check local retailers for availability.
