13 Fishing Announces New Species-Specific Capture Walleye Rod and Reel Combos
13 Fishing® has developed a new rod and reel combo under the name Capture Walleye, specifically designed to cater to the walleye bite.
Anglers with a love for Ice Fishing, can now simplify their tools while upgrading in quality specifically designed for what they are targeting. The Capture Walleye Series has done the research and design for Ice Anglers. With each length within each model, the rod blanks and actions get more defined to provide the best hook sets when landing more, and bigger Walleye.
The Capture Walleye Rod and Reel by 13 Fishing
When you’re talking about the Capture Walleye Combo this rod features a solid fiberglass blank, a hi-vis tip, stainless steel guides with polished inserts, a custom Evolve skeleton reel seat, and a custom Evolve premium cork handle. The Capture Walleye Reel features two ball bearings plus IAR, a composite frame and rotor, a composite handle with a rubber knob, a slide drag system, and a ported aluminum spool. “I love to see 13 Fishing continue to develop ice Combos that takes the guesswork out of shopping for this season, says Tony Roach the widely known guide in the upper midwest. “I’m excited to show off these models on the upcoming season three of Dialed In Angling” Tony continues, “It’s going to be fun to bring Rod and Reel education to the show, and these models will help spark that segment of the show. 13 Fishing is certainly leading the way with their ideas and innovation. The Capture Walleye Combo comes in five models, each with 2+1 bearings, a 5:2:1 gear ratio, and a full handle. Lengths and actions include 26 ML, 28 M, 28MD, 36M and 36 MH. Powers are medium light, medium, medium-deadstick, and medium heavy.
