Rapala Rod Warranty

Rapala warrants all rods against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year* from the date of purchase. No warranty registration needed.

To facilitate your warranty return, proof of purchase is required. 

If purchased through one of our retail partner locations, return defective product(s) to original place of purchase according to their specific regular return policy. It is the angler’s responsibility to verify the return with the retailer.  If the return falls outside of the retailer's regular return window or if purchased through Rapala.ca, please follow the Rapala Warranty Procedure..

*Some models such as Shift and Concept carry extended warranty policies and must be registered. See below for additional information about these models.

Shift Rod Warranty
Rapala SHIFT™ Series fishing rods came with a limited 5 year warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials, workmanship and against breakage under normal fishing conditions. This warranty does not cover Rapala fishing rods damaged due to abuse or misuse. Warranty will not be approved unless the product has been registered. A simple fee of $20 to cover shipping and handling is all it takes. Our service department will review the damaged rod and determine if the breakage was due to a manufacturers defect. If so, a new rod will be sent to you at no additional charge. If the damage is found to be due to misuse, you will be advised of the additional cost to repair or replace your fishing rod.

Concept Rod Warranty

Fill out a Warranty Form to register your Concept rod for warranty.

Limited Lifetime Warranty: Your new Rapala fishing rod comes with a limited lifetime warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials, workmanship and against breakage under normal fishing conditions. This rod has been factory checked for defects in materials and workmanship, tested for action, and should reach you in perfect condition. This warranty does not cover Rapala fishing rods damaged due to abuse, misuse or normal wear. Warranty will not be approved unless the product has been registered. To obtain warranty service, send your Concept fishing rod postage prepaid and insured with proof of purchase, plus $20 shipping and handling to the address below. Our service department will review the damaged rod and determine if the breakage was due to a manufactures defect. If so, a new rod will be sent to you at no additional charge. If the damage is found to be due to misuse, you will be advised of the additional cost to repair or replace your fishing rod.

Garantie Limitée à Vie: Votre nouvelle canne à pêche Rapala est livré avec une garantie limitée à vie suivant la date d’achat contre les défauts de matériaux, de fabrication et la casse dans des conditions normales de pêche. Cette canne a été vérifiée en usine pour les défauts de matériaux et de fabrication, testés pour l’action, et devrait vous arriver en parfait état. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les cannes à pêche Rapala endommagé à cause d’abus, mauvais usage ou l’usure normale. La garantie ne sera pas approuvée si le produit n’a pas été enregistré. Pour obtenir le service de garantie, envoyez votre canne à pêche Concept prépayé et assuré avec preuve d’achat et 20$ pour des frais de port et manutention à l’adresse ci-dessous. Notre département du service passera en revue la canne endommagée et déterminera si la cassure est due d’un défaut de fabrication. Si oui, une nouvelle canne va vous être envoyée sans frais supplémentaires. Si les dommages se trouve être du à une mauvaise utilisation, vous serez informé du coût supplémentaire pour réparer ou remplacer votre canne à pêche.
