Rapala warrants all rods against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year* from the date of purchase. Please make sure to register your rod HERE.
To facilitate your warranty return, proof of purchase is required.
If purchased through one of our retail partner locations, return defective product(s) to original place of purchase according to their specific regular return policy. It is the angler’s responsibility to verify the return with the retailer. If the return falls outside of the retailer's regular return window or if purchased through Rapala.ca, please follow the Rapala Warranty Procedure.
Unfortunately, we are unable to process walk-in claims. All warranty claims must be submitted via mail.
*Authorized Retailer Policy: Retailers will possess a brick and mortar storefront location. Rapala will not warranty products purchased through online auction or marketplace sites (i.e. e-bay etc.) due to the untraceable nature of the transaction.
Shipping Guidelines: Please note that we require to have the 6” section of the rod with the decal displaying the model number, accompanied with a completed Luhr-Jensen Rod/Reel warranty return form (submitted below and you will receive an email copy), and proof of purchase such as a receipt from an Authorized Retailer.
